Perhaps this will inspire Kelly to make this page “autobigraphical.” Here she is, a bit delirious after the Drumstick Dash 2008 in sweet, sweet Indianapolis, IN. Seven years my junior (hence, the nickname, Junior), Kelly is a painter by training, and a repo man by trade. Ok, that may be stretching the truth, but she works for a collection agency, making calls prior to reposession. And in my world, that makes here a Repo Man. Or Woman. Whatever. But the thought of that tufty hat bouncing just about the roofline of a car moments before she slim-jim’s her way into the soon-to-be -jacked auto, is too funny. Every time I talk to her at work all I hear in my head is Iggy -

Anyway, her main passion is painting. She received her MFA in painting from UNC-GB last year, and has had at least three shows since. If by some freak occurence you happen to be the chair of an Art dept at major university, you’d be well served to drop her a line.  Super bright, and really cannot stop painting, or even stop thinking about it.
